I am submitting a brief note on the Mid Term Conference conducted by the AROI AP Chapter on August 31, 2024, at the Government Medical College, Ongole. The conference was organized under the leadership of Dr. A.Y. Rao, Secretary of the AP Chapter and Organizing Secretary of the AROI AP Chapter Mid Term Conference, as well as ADME/Principal of Government Medical College, Ongole. The event saw participation from approximately 80 delegates, including 35 postgraduate students.

The conference featured a quiz program, oral paper presentations, and poster presentations for the postgraduates. About 10 postgraduate teams competed in the quiz, which included both preliminary and final rounds. Prizes were awarded to the top three teams. Additionally, scientific papers were carefully reviewed, resulting in the selection of eight oral presentations and thirteen poster presentations. Prizes were also awarded to the top three participants in both categories.

The scientific program spanned eight hours and included discussions on landmark clinical trials such as the Interlace trial, Portec-3 trial, Esopec trial, Checkmate 577, Fast Forward trial, NSABP B-51/RTOG 1304, Laura trial, and a study comparing Prostate-Only versus Whole-Pelvis Radiotherapy in High-Risk and Very High-Risk Prostate Cancer.

The inauguration ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Dr. D.S. Raju Naidu, President of the AROI AP Chapter; Dr. A.Y. Rao, Organizing Secretary; Dr. V.S.N. Rao, Past President of the AROI AP Chapter; and Dr. G. Sudhakar, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Pathology, Government Medical College, Ongole, who served as the AP Medical Council Observer.

The AP Medical Council granted two credit hours for this conference. The event concluded with a valedictory function, during which there was a positive exchange and interaction among all the delegates.
